Privacy notice

Draft — to be reviewed before launch. This describes what Appetrics does with personal data today.

What we keep

Your email address, username, optional display name, the apps you connect, your recommendations, report cards and the changes you record, plus basic product events (for example “opened a report”) so we can show your history and improve the product. Subscription records come from the App Store, Google Play or our web checkout through RevenueCat; we never see or store card numbers.

Searching without an account

The homepage search lets you try Appetrics a few times a day without an account. To count those searches we set a cookie with a random id and use your IP address. Both are stored only as one-way hashes mixed with a random value that changes every day, and are deleted after two days. We don't use them for anything else. We also remember your Day/Night choice in a cookie.

Private store data

If you connect a store account (App Store Connect or Google Play Console), that data is only ever shown to you. It is not used to shape what other people see.

AI features

To write AI insights, Appetrics sends an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) a short summary of findings about your app: grades, opportunities, public search rankings and Appetrics estimates. It doesn't send your email, your name or the numbers from your connected store accounts. To measure AI visibility, Appetrics asks AI providers general questions about apps (for example “What is the best GLP-1 tracker app?”) that contain no personal data. Providers process these requests under their API terms.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. That removes your profile, connected apps, recommendations, reports and recorded changes. Billing records are kept without your name or email, for accounting.
